Motorcycle Therapy: A Canadian Adventure in Central America – Jeremy Kroeker (2006, Trafford Publishing, Victoria)
What happens when a Canadian looking to mend a broken heart heads to Panama on a motorcycle?
Probably more than what author Jeremy Kroeker actually fits into this very short travelogue. (It’s only 115 pages long). Nevertheless, Kroeker’s humorous, self-deprecating take on the journey is highly entertaining, even if he does spend an awful lot of ink analyzing his friendship with his travelling partner Trevor. If you like tales of border crossing hell, bad directions, strange food, and even stranger accommodations, you’ll enjoy this one. A quick fun read.
